Set in the premises of La Triennale di Milano, Sanlorenzo: The Sea in Milan is conceived to immerse the audience in the world of yacht design by transforming the city’s landscape in an hypothetical crossing of the remotest seas of the planet.
At the foot of La Triennale stairway, a “dock” permits visitors to view a projection “au bord de la mer”.
The installation involves the interior spaces of the foundation as well, where an entire room is dedicated to the presentation of the great families of yachts produced by Sanlorenzo (SL, SD and Superyacht) and to the narrative of the collaborations with Dordoni Architetti, Antonio Citterio – Patricia Viel Interiors and Piero Lissoni.
Visitors land this area, through an inner sea surrounded by unexpected marine creatures.
I worked as part of the team at NEO [Narrative Environments Operas].
